3 Under Utilized Methods To Build Your List Outside Of Email

Today in the marketing world things are changing drastically. Not to long ago email while still a great medium to attract new customers was pretty new. Now in 2018 its became oversaturated.

At this very moment your prospects are being flooded with new emails from marketers everywhere. They no longer are just sitting idly waiting to  get your emails. There is a huge amount of competition in the inbox today.

Its becoming more and more important to stay in front of your audience with multiple methods. Check out this convo that happened online this morning...

I myself have a few emails myself and they have anywhere from 10,000 or more currently. Where am I going with this? You are going to have to do more today to get your customers attention.

 

Now let me be clear this is not to replace email but to assist you in getting better results while doing it. Here's a few tools to stay in front of your audience outside of email.

 

1. Push Notifications- Not to long ago search engines released a way to keep in contact with vistitors. You may have seen one on this page. Here is what they look like...

As you can see from the blog www.shoutmeloud.com   you can see what one looks like. The cool part about push notifications is they can act as autoresponders. When someone decides to get your notifications you can keep following up with them until they opt-out. Very similar to email in that aspect and you can still send people to your optin page if you wish.

 

 

2. Messenger Bots- I am sure you have seen these and they are becoming all the craze. Whats amazing about messenger bots is they have a high open rate. Unlike email people immediately open their messages. According to Neil Patel in a blog he wrote the open rate can be as high as 88%!!

Thats the title to his blogpost about using Facebook messenger. Thats pretty awesome as opposed to email where a 20% open rate is decent in todays standards.

Here is Alex Becker using Facebook Messenger as well. When you see top marketers doing something its something to pay attention to.

 

Just think for a moment if you had at any time 1,000-2,000 interested people to hear your message that you can reach anytime that has up to 88% chance to see your message.

 

3. Sms Texting- At this current moment there are over 4 billion smartphone users in the world. Many of these people use texting almost everyday to talk to friends and family. With Sms you can expect up to a 95% open rate on your messages. Even more is you can begin to build a list of Sms subscribers to later either market to them or help build your email list. Now its pretty simple to get people to subscribe and become a part of your Sms software you choose to use.

 

This is done by getting cell-phone users to text a certain keyword to a number of your choosing. Here's an example text "make money" to 34567 once they take that action they are automatically subscribed to your Sms datalist.
